Dual-arm manipulators are one of the highest priorities of EOD Techs. Industry is now creating highly dexterous dual-arm systems with over two dozen degrees of freedom, but controlling these complex systems is as challenging as building the hardware. Traditional joint-by-joint control is not feasible.
American Android has developed a uniquely intuitive control system for very high degree-of-freedom systems. In less than a minute, a novice user can sit at the controls and pick up objects with much greater fluidity than is possible with currently deployed manipulator systems, even though the new system has an order of magnitude more degrees of freedom.
Our software can handle any arbitrary number of joints and configurations, including arms, legs, torsos and heads. Movement is fluid and simple to control. Automonous behaviors keep cameras focused on the task at hand.
The proof is in the doing. Use our Multi-Arm Unmanned Ground Vehicle, which has 29 degrees of freedom. You'll be amazed at the simplicity and power of our control interface.
